Location: Dunedin city office, New Zealand; residential role in Otago

is an international gold and copper producer operating mines in the USA, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
What you will do
- Prepare period-end journals, month-end workpapers, reconciliations, and OneStream statutory consolidation packages for New Zealand operations.
- Coordinate with management accounting teams to deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting.
- Support quarterly and annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to routine queries.
- Assist with GST, FBT, income tax schedules, statutory financial statements, AP, and payroll administration.
- Contribute to internal controls improvements, remediation actions, and SOX compliance initiatives.
- Support finance systems projects, testing, documentation, user support, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Accounting, equivalent accounting qualification, or current progress toward a relevant qualification.
- 1–2 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably including month-end processes, reconciliations, or compliance activities.
- Current New Zealand working visa required.
- Ability to collaborate with finance teams and site stakeholders and complete work accurately and on time.
