TL;DR
Sr Staff Engineer Software - Identity SSO (Idira) (AWS/.NET): Designing and evolving a global human and non-human identity platform for enterprise SSO and zero-trust access with an accent on AWS architecture, distributed systems, and security. Focus on defining multi-year architecture, solving global scalability and resilience challenges, and integrating AI/ML capabilities into identity services.
Location: Petah Tikva, Israel; office-based work is expected full time

What you will do
- Define the long-term technical roadmap, system design patterns, and architectural evolution for global identity services.
- Design a unified human and non-human identity platform supporting enterprise SSO and zero-trust access.
- Resolve complex security, scalability, fault-tolerance, and distributed database challenges across cloud environments.
- Partner with engineering leadership, chief security architects, and product directors to align architecture with business strategy.
- Establish engineering standards, security paradigms, and architectural review practices across multiple teams.
- Evaluate cloud capabilities, security mechanisms, and AI/ML integrations for identity services.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, including large-scale architecture for global enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Mastery of modern backend technologies such as .NET/C#, Java, Go, or Python.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, fault tolerance, zero-trust security, global data residency, and enterprise scalability.
- Experience leading multi-system cloud initiatives from design through completion.
- Experience building end-to-end features with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source AI ecosystems.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or experience in an elite technology unit in the IDF.
Nice to have
- Expertise in SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, and identity threat-surface reduction.
- Expert-level AWS, multi-region cloud deployment, event-driven architecture, AWS CDK, and .NET experience.
- Experience establishing technical standards and architecture review processes for multi-team organizations.
