Veterinary Student Ambassador

Compensation: $1,000 flat-rate payment per semester

The Farmer’s Dog develops freshly prepared dog food designed to support long-term canine health and promotes evidence-based nutrition in partnership with the veterinary community.

What you will do

• Represent The Farmer’s Dog professionally within the veterinary student community.
• Mentor classmates and provide peer resources about products, services, and canine nutrition.
• Identify and participate in campus events, student organization meetings, and nutrition discussions.
• Organize or support on-campus educational events in consultation with The Farmer’s Dog.
• Share non-confidential feedback and insights from the student community to inform company initiatives.

Requirements

• Second- or third-year veterinary student in good academic standing.
• Current enrollment in an AVMA-accredited veterinary program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative through student organizations or professional roles.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and take initiative.
• Commitment to the role for one school year, with an option to renew.
