Therapy Specialist (Medtech)

Location: Field-based in the UK, covering the Manchester/Leeds region; based at Newbury, Berkshire, with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Provide clinical, educational, and technical support for beds, surfaces, safe patient handling equipment, and low-acuity vital signs solutions.
• Act as the primary clinical resource for account managers and build relationships with clinicians, tissue viability nurses, falls leads, and mobility teams.
• Deliver pre- and post-sale product training, demonstrations, ward visits, clinical roadshows, and internal product education.
• Support product evaluations, hospital-wide system installations, clinical audits, and ongoing customer support.
• Develop clinical networks, evidence-generation initiatives, quality improvement programmes, case studies, and clinical papers.
• Analyse customer and clinical data, maintain CRM and training records, and contribute to account, sales, marketing, and competitor strategies.

Requirements

• RGN or similar professional healthcare qualification with current NMC registration or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare environment and knowledge of NHS and private-sector workflows, stakeholders, and buying processes.
• Clinical experience in tissue viability, wound care, safe mobility, or falls prevention.
• Experience delivering training and education to individuals and larger audiences, with strong presentation, networking, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, together with data analysis and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays, are required.

• Postgraduate qualification in tissue viability or wound care.
• Strong understanding of NHS workflows, stakeholder groups, and purchasing processes.
