TL;DR
Technical Account Manager - Egypt (Data Resilience): Supporting customers through Veeam implementations and post-sales technical engagements with an accent on solution architecture, data protection, virtualization, and project coordination. Focus on designing availability solutions, analyzing installed environments, managing concurrent customer projects, and resolving complex infrastructure requirements across cloud, storage, networking, and operating systems.
Location: Hybrid in Cairo, Egypt; applicants permanently located outside Egypt may be declined

What you will do
- Provide proactive technical support, consulting, and guidance during customer implementations and post-sales engagements.
- Plan, architect, coordinate, and manage availability solutions involving data protection and monitoring.
- Create project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource plans, status updates, solution guides, white papers, and technical documentation.
- Assess environments, design and estimate solutions, support implementation, and address post-installation issues.
- Analyze installed environments and recommend optimal configurations across virtualization, storage, networking, cloud, and operating systems.
- Coordinate communication between customers and support, identify additional solution needs, and deliver onsite knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience with core products and significant experience with VMware, Hyper-V, storage, backup architectures, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
- Experience in consulting, project management, data management, data protection, data analytics, business continuity, operating systems, Kubernetes, and security technologies.
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, Prince2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience is expected.
