Salary: CAD 115,500–173,300 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, test, release, and maintain mobile application features with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, reusable components, development patterns, and technical standards.
• Translate user experience requirements into maintainable technical solutions with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers.
• Write well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and improve documentation, testing, and release practices.
• Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver reliable end-to-end experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, including production React Native applications or high-performance JavaScript and TypeScript applications.
• Strong knowledge of React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, component architecture, state management, and mobile development.
• Experience profiling, debugging, and optimizing frontend or mobile application performance.
• Understanding of cross-platform architecture and communication between JavaScript and native modules.
• Experience building reusable UI components and maintainable frontend systems.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with social, community, gaming, or other consumer products.
• Familiarity with VoIP, call dialing, and ringing flows in Android or React Native.
• Experience with accessibility, internationalization, UI testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern frontend build systems.
• Experience at an early-stage startup or on a zero-to-one product team.
