TL;DR
Senior HRBP - Cartago (HR Business Partnership): Driving the people strategy for a complex, multi-shift manufacturing operation with an accent on talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and labor-law compliance. Focus on supporting organizational change, improving workforce efficiency, developing leaders, and executing HR programs onsite in Costa Rica.
Location: Cartago, Costa Rica; onsite only, not eligible for remote or hybrid work

What you will do
- Partner with business and functional leaders at the Cartago manufacturing site to translate operational priorities into people strategies.
- Support workforce planning, organizational design, talent deployment, organizational change, and efficiency initiatives.
- Advise managers and supervisors on talent management, performance, career development, succession planning, and leadership capability.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, engagement initiatives, and culture development.
- Execute HR programs and corporate initiatives in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, and Centers of Excellence.
- Ensure compliance with Costa Rica labor regulations and company policies while evaluating and improving HR program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of HRBP experience with employee relations, talent management, and Costa Rica labor law knowledge.
- English at B2+ level or higher is required.
- Experience supporting large hourly workforces in multi-shift manufacturing or operational environments.
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday.
Nice to have
- Ten years of overall HR experience.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
