hirify.global is recruiting for a Japanese company supporting manufacturing operations and IT services.

What you will do

  • Lead IT service delivery for manufacturing operations, supporting Siemens Opcenter and other MOM/MES applications.
  • Act as the primary IT contact for plant operations and align services with production schedules and business SLAs.
  • Manage incident, problem, request, change, and release processes while improving service performance metrics.
  • Coordinate application updates, patches, releases, and integrations with vendors and internal engineering teams.
  • Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and executive communications.
  • Drive Kaizen initiatives, operational reporting, SOP standardization, automation, and process optimization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT operations or IT service management experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting MOM/MES applications; Siemens Opcenter experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading technical support teams and service improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of incident, problem, change, and release management, application lifecycle management, DevOps practices, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with global or cross-cultural teams.
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter.
