What you will do
- Develop electrical solutions using and customer-specific standards.
- Lead electrical engineering scopes on medium to large projects from concept and feasibility through commissioning and handover.
- Prepare project pricing, cost estimates, scope definitions, bids, and proposals.
- Coordinate project delivery from design through implementation with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Lead technical discussions and design reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to improving engineering standards, tools, and ways of working.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering electrical design and building projects across the full lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS Wiring Regulations and applicable electrical standards.
- Experience with electrical commissioning in production or industrial environments and with complex capital projects.
- Experience with project pricing, cost estimation, technical risk, subcontractor management, and supplier management.
- New Zealand residency with full working rights required; visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available.
Nice to have
- Food and beverage industry experience.
- Understanding of PLC/HMI hardware selection and integration.
- Exposure to hazardous area design and functional safety design.
- Ability to mentor and provide informal leadership within an engineering team.
