Inventory Specialist (Medical Devices)

Location: Houston, Texas; full-time on-site work at the Houston, TX office

Salary: $17.69 per hour

Healthcare company developing and delivering medical technologies, including remote patient monitoring solutions for cardiac patients.

What you will do

• Rotate, receive, store, check in, and audit cardiac monitoring devices.
• Refurbish heart monitor components, repackage equipment, and securely destroy patient health information using HIPAA-compliant processes.
• Prepare on-demand inventory reports covering Houston, sales representative stock, and on-site customer inventories.
• Process returned monitors, completed studies, device uploads, and related data entry.
• Answer customer inquiries, educate patients and staff, document communications, and redirect calls to subject matter experts.
• Identify, document, and escalate potential patient or customer complaints.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent multitasking, organization, verbal communication, written communication, and customer service skills.
• Digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Inventory control experience and bilingual skills are preferred or a plus.
