What you will do
- Provide after-hours emergency and critical care to veterinary patients.
- Lead the development of emergency services and guide a new veterinary team.
- Shape clinical protocols, hospital workflows, and after-hours care operations.
- Perform and oversee emergency diagnostics, hospitalization, and surgeries.
- Collaborate with the veterinary support team to deliver coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Current DEA license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Active veterinary state license.
- USDA accreditation or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
- Availability for night and weekend work; weekday shifts run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
