What you will do
- Apply orthopedic soft goods, functional braces, bone growth stimulators, and other prescribed products.
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals on appropriate product use and care.
- Provide customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and clinical staff.
- Verify patient benefits, support pre-authorization, and collect patient responsibility when required.
- Manage inventory, participate in audits, and coordinate between customers, , and the Sales Team.
- Follow HIPAA, OIG, government healthcare regulations, and compliance and ethics policies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in orthopedics, physical therapy, athletic training, or a related environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated patient care experience and commitment to patient outcomes.
- Ability to satisfy third-party credentialing and screening requirements for hospital access.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to work the required schedule: Sunday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM plus three consistent weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Nice to have
- Active Athletic Training licensure or Board of Certification (BOC) credential.
- ABC Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or a related professional credential.
