What you will do
- Apply, explain, and support the appropriate use and care of orthopedic soft goods, functional braces, bone growth stimulators, and other prescribed products.
- Provide customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and clinical staff.
- Manage inventory and participate in required audits.
- Verify patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and collection of patient responsibility.
- Act as a liaison between patients, , and the Sales Team.
- Follow compliance and ethics programs, healthcare regulations, clinic and hospital policies, and HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in orthopedics, physical therapy, athletic training, or a related environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated patient care experience and a strong commitment to patient outcomes.
- Successful completion of third-party credentialing and screening requirements for hospital access.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and work around airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
Nice to have
- Active Athletic Training license or Board of Certification credentials.
- ABC Certified Fitter-orthotics certification, Physical Therapy Assistant certification, or related professional credentials.
