What you will do

• Investigate quantitative trading ideas using market data, mathematics, statistics, and programming.
• Research patterns that can become actionable trading signals.
• Collaborate with technologists to backtest results and deploy signals into electronic trading strategies.
• Continue researching and optimizing the performance of deployed strategies.
• Discuss findings and generate new research ideas with researchers, strategists, and traders.

Requirements

• Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
• Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
• Strong practical computing skills, with the ability to make computers perform tasks efficiently and reliably.
• Experience working on in-depth research projects.
