What you will do
- Investigate trading ideas using market data, mathematics, statistics, and programming.
- Identify patterns and develop signals for electronic trading strategies.
- Run signals through backtesting environments and analyze performance.
- Work with technologists to deploy successful signals into production.
- Monitor real-time strategy performance in financial markets.
- Collaborate with researchers, strategists, and traders to refine ideas and develop new projects.
Requirements
- Honours or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, or economics.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets, especially in Python.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic games or competitive activities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with C++ or other low-level programming languages.
