What you will do

• Investigate trading ideas using market data, mathematics, statistics, and programming.
• Identify patterns and develop quantitative trading signals.
• Backtest signals and analyze their performance.
• Collaborate with technologists to deploy successful signals into electronic trading strategies.
• Monitor real-time strategy performance in financial markets.
• Exchange ideas with researchers, strategists, and traders to improve existing strategies and develop new projects.

Requirements

• Honours or Master's degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, economics, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets, especially in Python.
• Demonstrated interest in strategic games or competitive activities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or other low-level programming languages.
