What you will do

  • Investigate trading ideas using market data, mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • Discover patterns and translate them into actionable trading signals.
  • Backtest trading strategies and analyze their performance.
  • Refine strategies through collaboration with quantitative researchers, strategists, and traders.
  • Contribute research that improves firm-wide trading decisions.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets, especially in Python.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in strategic games or competitive activities and passion for financial problem-solving.

Nice to have

  • Experience with C++ or other low-level programming languages.
  • Previous finance industry experience.
