hirify.global operates a Sports Analytics team that develops statistical forecasting models and trading strategies for the sports betting industry.

What you will do

• Conduct sports analytics and quantitative trading research.
• Test research ideas empirically using real industry data.
• Write programs to implement statistical models and trading strategies.
• Collaborate with researchers, traders, and technologists.
• Trade with the team to understand how models are applied and how traders operate.
• Support off-hour coverage, including occasional evening or weekend shifts, during model deployment and testing.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a background in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, or economics.
• Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets.
• Demonstrated experience with sports analytics or other quantitative projects.
• Intermittent international travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• Knowledge of NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAM, soccer, tennis, or golf.
• Trading experience.
