What you will do
- Plan and coordinate educational classes, military-focused events, conferences, conventions, and expos.
- Represent Veterans United at events by coordinating booths, staffing, vendors, promotional materials, and logistics.
- Build partnerships with military installations, Guard units, military associations, corporate organizations, and service-branch leaders.
- Develop event strategies, manage budgets, negotiate contracts, track expenses, and evaluate event success.
- Research outreach opportunities, maintain event schedules, and prepare educational materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing, internal teams, event organizers, and external partners to expand outreach to Veterans and Service Members.
Requirements
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and events.
- Confident communication with senior military leaders, partners, colleagues, and people from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems, and build collaborative relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Advanced Excel skills and reliable execution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Availability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays when events require it.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15%–25%.
