Quantitative Research Internship: Summer 2027

Location: Dublin, Ireland. The 10-week internship runs from late June to late August 2027.

What you will do

• Develop mathematical models to identify patterns and actionable insights in large datasets.
• Work on a real-world algorithmic trading problem through project work and hands-on trading games.
• Learn and apply proprietary datasets, modelling approaches, and strategy implementation techniques.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and engineers in a systematic trading environment.
• Attend classes covering options pricing, machine learning, data analysis techniques, and game theory.

Requirements

• PhD or research master’s student in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research, or economics.
• Class of 2027 or 2028, with PhD candidates in their penultimate or final year.
• Strong research mindset and interest in building mathematical models.
• Analytical, detail-oriented approach to modelling, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration skills.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
