What you will do
- Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and communicate demand signals to suppliers.
- Manage ERP master data, including the creation and maintenance of Material Masters.
- Perform user acceptance testing with GIS and SAP teams for new ERP functionality.
- Coordinate materials deliverables across planners, production control, engineering, and Materials Core Team members.
- Support sourcing, commercialization, material change control, supplier selection, negotiations, and supplier risk assessments.
- Track supplier delivery, quality, cost, KPIs, total landed costs, and the resolution of supplier quality issues.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ERP, MRP, and SAP systems.
- Knowledge of planning and operational processes in materials management.
- Ability to analyze straightforward problems and apply technical experience and established precedents.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
- No supervisory responsibilities; provides informal guidance to new team members.
