What you will do
- Support data architecture initiatives under the guidance of senior architects and engineers.
- Design data models and translate business requirements into specifications for data flow and storage.
- Evaluate data platforms, tools, and technologies for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Partner with data engineers on reliable, accurate, and valid data pipelines.
- Monitor data quality and system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and perform root cause analysis.
- Support data governance, privacy compliance, architectural documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of data modeling principles and exposure to architecture concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, C#, Kusto, Cosmos, Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, or similar tools.
- Proficiency with Git, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in developing a data architecture specialization and learning from senior architects.
