Process Support Engineer (Diffusion)

Location: Singapore, North/East; based at the customer's site daily

What you will do

• Provide on-site customer support through equipment installations, system diagnoses, service, and repairs.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing processes, with a focus on diffusion.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze process data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product problems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to build consensus, establish trust, and achieve technical goals.
• Support junior colleagues, liaise between customers and the business unit, and lead small projects when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• A few years of experience in semiconductor processing or equipment, preferably RTP or diffusion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to work at the customer’s site daily and travel to various customer sites as required.
