2027 Engineer Development Rotation Program - Mechanical Engineer I New College Grad - BS or MS (Gloucester, MA)

Location: On-site at the Gloucester, MA campus; program starts in Summer 2027. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $70,000–$95,500 per year.

What you will do

• Complete three or four engineering rotations and one manufacturing rotation during the first two years of employment.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
• Design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis and document engineering test reports.
• Resolve mechanical problems using established engineering processes and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly throughout the product life cycle.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be in good academic standing. A GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset suited to a results-driven culture.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or related experience in the field.
