2027 Engineer Development Rotation Program - Mechanical Engineer I New College Grad - BS or MS (Gloucester, MA)

Location: On-site at the Gloucester, Massachusetts campus; program starts in Summer 2027. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $70,000–$95,500 per year

What you will do

• Design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Develop custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly across the product life cycle.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
• Perform engineering analysis and resolve routine and standard mechanical problems using established processes.
• Conduct and document engineering test reports.
• Complete three or four engineering rotations and one manufacturing assignment during the first two years.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Good academic standing; a GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Ability to solve complex problems and apply judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Flexible, adaptable mindset suited to a results-driven environment.
• Ability to work on-site at the Gloucester, MA campus.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or related mechanical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in professional or academic associations.
