TL;DR
Manager, Business Growth & Security Compliance (Proposal Management/Security Compliance): Leading proposal development, contract administration, NDA management, and facility security compliance for commercial, government, defense, and international business opportunities with an accent on cross-functional coordination, technical writing, and regulatory compliance. Focus on managing complex proposal lifecycles, supporting government contracts, handling classified and export-controlled information, and maintaining Facility Security Officer responsibilities.

Location: Remote in the USA; occasional travel required for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, training events, and company activities.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

  • Lead proposal planning, development, review, and submission for RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, quotations, white papers, and capability statements.
  • Manage proposal schedules, compliance matrices, content libraries, reviews, metrics, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate opportunity qualification, capture planning, pricing narratives, market research, competitive analysis, and customer-facing business development materials.
  • Administer commercial, government, international, partner, and subcontract agreements throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Manage NDA reviews, approvals, execution, records, renewals, and confidentiality compliance.
  • Serve as FSO or Alternate FSO, managing personnel security actions, classified information handling, inspections, audits, training, and security records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications, contracts, security, engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least five years of experience in proposal management, business operations, contracts administration, security administration, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Strong technical and business writing, verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard collaboration tools, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Must be able to work remotely from the USA; may need to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and access to customer or government facilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Department of Defense, federal government, maritime, aerospace, defense technology, manufacturing, or research organizations.
  • Facility Security Officer or industrial security program experience.
  • Knowledge of government acquisition, contract administration, capture management, classified programs, export controls, or CUI.
  • Active U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
