Mechanical Engineer New College Grad - Masters Degree (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; travel up to 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $100,000–$136,500 per year.

What you will do

• Perform engineering analysis and troubleshoot mechanical problems under general supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly across the product life cycle.
• Perform and document engineering tests and generate alpha/gamma product-release documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment, identifying sources for critical parts and subsystems.
• Implement mechanical solutions, oversee manufacturing and installation processes, and provide informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and new college graduate status.
• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science.
• Conceptual knowledge in mechanical engineering and the ability to broaden capabilities in the discipline.
• Ability to understand key business drivers and apply technical experience and judgment to solve straightforward problems.
• Ability to explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Ability to work within guidelines and policies while maintaining the quality of personal and team output.
