What you will do

• Perform mechanical engineering analysis and troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical problems.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixtures, and related processes.
• Perform and document engineering tests and generate alpha/gamma product-release documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment, identifying sources for critical parts and subsystems.
• Support handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and new college graduate status.
• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, materials science, and mechanical engineering.
• Ability to analyze problems, evaluate technical solutions, and work under general supervision.
• Ability to explain complex technical information in straightforward situations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
