Mockup Design Team Manager (3D/AI)

Location: Remote within Europe; optional office work in Riga

Salary: EUR 3,000–3,500 gross per month, depending on experience, education, and skills

hirify.global presents this opportunity on behalf of a partner company operating a fast-growing global commerce platform with a large-scale 3D design operation.

What you will do

• Lead the 3D mockup production operation, managing three Design Team Leads and thirteen 3D designers.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement streamlined workflows, automation, and operational improvements.
• Use customer feedback, e-commerce trends, usage patterns, and production metrics to improve visual assets, quality, conversion, and reprint rates.
• Evaluate and introduce practical AI tools that improve designer productivity and simplify production workflows.
• Plan team capacity, allocate resources, and prioritize high-value initiatives.
• Coach Design Team Leads and strengthen collaboration across design, product, operations, and other functions.

Requirements

• Experience leading, managing, and developing technical, creative, 3D design, or comparable specialist teams.
• Experience in a platform, SaaS, e-commerce, or similarly scalable technology environment.
• Experience optimizing processes, introducing workflow automation, and reducing repetitive work.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using operational metrics, capacity data, and performance indicators for scheduling and resource allocation.
• Experience managing team capacity and optimizing output per FTE while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Strong people-management, coaching, communication, stakeholder-management, and customer-centricity skills.
