SAP HANA Cloud Engineer (SAP HANA)

Location: Remote from Portugal

Salary: €2,800–€3,200 gross per month, including fixed and variable compensation, meal allowance, remote-work allowance, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable SAP HANA Cloud data models using Calculation Views and SQLScript.
• Implement calculated fields, aggregations, and business logic for Profit Center, Business Line, and MRP Controller requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain stakeholders, and functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions and validate data accuracy.
• Optimize models for performance, security, and reusability while maintaining documentation and best practices.
• Manage version control and automated deployment pipelines across environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures, and scheduler jobs.
• Experience with profit center accounting and MRP or planning-related data.
• Knowledge of data modeling, performance optimization, and analytic privileges.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Database Explorer, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with CDS Views, CAP, and OData services.
• Experience integrating SAP HANA data models with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications.
• Experience creating infolinks and reports in Tibco Spotfire.
• Exposure to SDI or SDA for data replication or virtualization.
