TL;DR
SAP Inhouse Consultant Sales & Distribution (m/f/d) (SAP SD/S/4HANA): Configuring and optimizing SAP Sales and Distribution processes, supporting ECC-to-S/4HANA brownfield migrations, and translating business requirements into system solutions with an accent on pricing, billing, shipping, aATP, and integrations. Focus on designing end-to-end SD solutions, solving complex availability and order fulfillment challenges, and supporting users through training and troubleshooting.
Location: Rastatt, Germany; hybrid work with 3–4 days at home

What you will do
- Consult business departments on Sales and Distribution processes, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
- Configure pricing, invoicing, shipping, credit management, order processing, output management, and e-invoicing.
- Support brownfield migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA with a focus on SD.
- Optimize SAP solutions and integrations, including IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware.
- Train and support key users and end users through troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain process documentation, specifications, and training materials.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in SAP SD consulting or support, ideally with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes and configuration across Sales, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Output Management, and e-Invoicing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SD Customizing and SAP S/4HANA aATP, including availability checks, backorder processing, product allocation, and order fulfillment.
- Experience with SAP projects as a team member and as a project or sub-project lead, plus ServiceNow incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Very good written and spoken English is required; willingness to travel approximately 10% is expected.
