Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Poznań, Wielkopolskie, Poland; remote, hybrid, or office-based collaboration available. Core synchronisation hours are 10 am–4 pm.

Salary: 22,000–28,000 PLN per month (+ VAT where applicable).

What you will do

• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end, from problem definition and implementation to stakeholder communication.
• Evolve Kubernetes with Argo and primarily GCP cloud infrastructure, contributing to cloud infrastructure unification.
• Develop Terraform configurations and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for scalable and reliable systems.
• Improve observability with OpenTelemetry and Datadog, and support PostgreSQL and other managed databases.
• Integrate AIkido and other security tools, participate in security audits, and harden workload configurations.
• Participate in on-call rotations, production troubleshooting, post-mortems, SRE practices, GitOps, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Experience managing relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and working with Ubuntu/Linux systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, self-management, project ownership, and asynchronous written communication skills.
• Fluent Polish and intermediate or higher English required.
• Active use of AI assistants and automation as daily productivity tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of cloud workload security tools and vulnerability management.
• Experience with distributed systems or large-scale architecture.
• Previous backend development experience with Elixir, Node, or similar technologies.
