Senior Designer (Architecture)

Location: Shanghai, China; office-based

hirify.global is an international architectural firm working across architecture, design, research, and theory through global offices, including Shanghai and Hong Kong.

What you will do

• Provide project management and design leadership for local and international architectural projects.
• Lead project planning, execution, and design teams.
• Develop and implement design concepts from preliminary studies through technical and construction stages.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants and resolve project conflicts.
• Develop complex geometries and apply rationalization methods.
• Coach and motivate team members while monitoring project risks.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of design experience at a leading international design firm, including competitions and built projects.
• Extensive project management and team leadership experience.
• Strong conceptual, communication, coordination, aesthetic, and design skills.
• Experience carrying projects from early concept through technical and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with Rhinoceros and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Cantonese and Mandarin fluency is preferred.
