What you will do

  • Conduct financial crime risk reviews and complete risk assessments.
  • Investigate, measure, monitor, and report risks related to suspicious or fraudulent financial activity.
  • Track AML laws, guidelines, and regulatory updates and develop compliance strategies covering AML, sanctions, and counter-terrorism financing.
  • Provide independent expert advice and analysis to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal departments to reduce money-laundering risks.
  • Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of AML/CFT requirements in Sweden and the EU.
  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance roles.
  • Experience with the Swedish AML Act, related regulations, and major international frameworks.
  • Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and intercultural skills.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English and Swedish.

Nice to have

  • Experience in payments, Nordic AML/CFT regulations, GDPR, or financial sanctions.
