TL;DR
FCC Officer - Senior (AML/CFT): Conducting financial crime compliance risk reviews, AML/CFT assessments, transaction monitoring, regulatory updates, and advisory work for Nordic entities with an accent on Swedish and EU AML/CFT requirements, sanctions, and payment-sector compliance. Focus on investigating suspicious financial activity, developing compliance strategies, advising stakeholders, and reporting risk findings to senior management.

What you will do

  • Conduct financial crime risk reviews and complete risk assessments.
  • Investigate, measure, monitor, and report risks related to suspicious or fraudulent financial activity.
  • Track changes to AML/CFT laws, guidelines, sanctions requirements, and related regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies supporting anti-money laundering, sanctions, and counter-terrorist financing compliance.
  • Provide independent expert advice and analysis to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal departments, presenting compliance findings to senior management.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of AML/CFT matters in Sweden and the EU.
  • At least three years of experience in compliance roles.
  • Experience with the Swedish AML Act, related regulations, and major international frameworks.
  • Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Analytical, independent, proactive, and effective in communication, presentation, and intercultural collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience in payments, other Nordic AML/CFT regulations, GDPR, or financial sanctions.
