TL;DR
Trust Officer (Personal Trust Administration): Managing assigned trust-account books and client relationships while ensuring compliance with governing instruments, banking regulations, and applicable laws with an accent on fiduciary administration, directed distributions, and account reviews. Focus on administering trusts under Delaware and Nevada law, presenting discretionary memorandums, and supporting complex client and committee decisions.

Location: On-site in Wilmington, Delaware or Henderson, Nevada; applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: USD 85,000–145,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary contact for an assigned book of trust accounts and maintain relationships with investment advisors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
  • Administer trust accounts according to applicable laws, regulations, bank policies, and governing instruments.
  • Research and respond to inquiries, maintain client service standards, and support current and prospective trust relationships.
  • Prepare discretionary memorandums and document directed distributions for fiduciary committee review.
  • Complete post-acceptance and annual administrative reviews, including accounting for miscellaneous assets and processing new accounts.
  • Support senior trust leadership, participate in special projects, and train junior staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of personal trust administration experience as the primary trust professional for an assigned book of business.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, CTFA preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of trust administration principles and experience with applicable banking regulations.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience administering trusts governed by Delaware and Nevada law is an advantage; directed trust experience is preferred.
  • Full-time authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.
