Engineer II Connectivity (Industrial IoT): Developing and supporting connectivity software and services for connected machines, digital services, remote operations, and data-driven products with an accent on cellular and satellite communications, edge computing, telemetry, and cloud-connected applications. Focus on designing connectivity across machine, edge, network, and cloud environments, troubleshooting data flows, and validating reliable IoT solutions.

Location: Full-time onsite work at the Irving, Texas office, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Up to 20% travel may be required.

Salary: $97,530–$158,480 per year

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support connectivity software and services.
  • Develop solutions for machine telemetry, remote diagnostics, asset monitoring, and digital products.
  • Implement connectivity across cellular, satellite, edge, IoT messaging, and cloud environments.
  • Support telemetry ingestion and data pipeline solutions.
  • Perform software verification, validation, debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud, and product teams on integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, connectivity engineering, networking, cloud engineering, or industrial IoT.
  • Experience with one or more of C++, C, C#, or Python.
  • Experience developing or supporting software applications, APIs, or connectivity services.
  • Familiarity with LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G, satellite communications, MQTT, REST APIs, Kafka, Azure or AWS, and Linux.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
