Policy Advocacy and Influencing Manager

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of hirify.global Jordan’s policy influencing strategy.
• Produce policy analyses, briefing notes, position papers, and other advocacy materials.
• Translate programme evidence and learning into influencing strategies, policy messages, and engagement products.
• Design and coordinate policy dialogues, roundtables, direct engagement, coalition strategies, and advocacy actions.
• Monitor policy developments, stakeholder positions, risks, and opportunities to adapt influencing approaches.
• Represent hirify.global in regional and global influencing platforms and line-manage the Media & Communications Officer.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in policy, advocacy, influencing, or related fields.
• Proven experience developing and implementing advocacy or influencing strategies.
• Strong policy analysis skills and experience producing policy-related outputs.
• Experience translating evidence into advocacy and influencing approaches.
• Experience with civil society, NGOs, or development and humanitarian organisations.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic; commitment to hirify.global’s values and safeguarding principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Jordanian policy and governance context.
• Fundraising experience or experience developing concept notes and donor proposals.
• Familiarity with media and communications in advocacy contexts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
