Salary: $7,727.33–$11,112.00 CAD monthly

What you will do

  • Lead donor relations strategy for major and principal gift donors, including acknowledgement, recognition, stewardship, and engagement.
  • Develop and implement multi-year engagement and donor relations plans, particularly for $1M+ donor accounts.
  • Advise fundraisers, Development colleagues, and faculty leadership on donor experience and stewardship practices.
  • Build scalable processes, tools, frameworks, and best practices for consistent donor relations program delivery.
  • Coordinate donor-facing initiatives across Development, Strategic Initiatives, Advancement Operations, Alumni, and other internal partners.
  • Track and analyze donor relations activities and outcomes, and provide input into impact reporting, communications, and recognition planning.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline and at least three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 5–7 years of progressive experience in donor relations, advancement, stewardship, or communications.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, donor engagement strategies, and stewardship practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders in a complex organization.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM databases, such as LINKS.
