Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: Budapest, XI.; on-site Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for complex product areas from discovery through launch.
• Design AI-powered experiences for live meetings, mobile workflows, financial documents, and synchronized data.
• Influence product direction and roadmap decisions through user-centered design strategy.
• Establish design systems, patterns, frameworks, and quality standards without over-engineering.
• Raise design quality through critique, reviews, collaborative problem-solving, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience leading design for AI-powered products, including trustworthy intelligent systems and unpredictable outputs.
• Deep product design experience with complex B2B or enterprise products, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Experience shaping design direction, building design practices, and creating design systems or reusable patterns.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, resource-constrained, and 0-to-1 environments.
• Technical fluency and the ability to collaborate with engineering on technical decisions.
• Fluent Hungarian and English language knowledge.

Nice to have

• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Experience in fintech, wealthtech, or productivity tools.
• HTML, CSS, or coding experience.
