Privacy & Compliance Program Specialist (SaaS/AI)

What you will do

• Develop expertise in Lucid’s products, technology stack, data storage, user workflows, and internal processes.
• Own SaaS compliance programs covering data mapping, privacy assessments, AB/AC policies, sanctions, data retention, and vendor risk.
• Maintain compliance documentation and tools for tracking OKRs, measuring program effectiveness, and optimizing training initiatives.
• Monitor and report on global laws and regulations affecting SaaS, with a focus on U.S. and EU developments.
• Manage controls for internal and customer-facing AI systems, including EU AI Act risk classifications and ISO 42001 alignment.
• Partner with business teams to implement controls and deliver role-specific compliance training and awareness campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, legal, regulatory, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of privacy or compliance management experience in B2B SaaS, cloud-native environments, regulated industries, law firms, or government agencies.
• Operational understanding of GDPR, CCPA, emerging AI laws, consumer protection frameworks, and SaaS regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, identify control gaps and policy violations, and prioritize remediation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal and regulatory requirements in plain language.
• Understanding of modern cloud software, SaaS operations, and the practical implementation of regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• CIPP, CISA, CRISC, or another relevant industry designation.
• Experience with automated compliance platforms such as OneTrust and Osano, plus Jira, CSI, SFDC, or Zendesk.
• Experience evaluating transparency, explainability, and bias risks in machine learning or automated decision-making systems.
• Experience designing and scaling privacy workflows such as data mapping and data subject request intake systems.
