Business Intelligence Engineer (Reporting) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Business, Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to define business metrics, reports, and analytical requirements.
• Design, architect, implement, and support structured datasets that provide timely access to actionable business information.
• Retrieve and analyse data using SQL, Excel, and business intelligence systems.
• Develop queries for ad-hoc requests, projects, and recurring reporting.
• Monitor existing metrics, answer business questions, and provide data-driven root-cause analysis.
• Work with current AWS cloud technologies.

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics, or Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including advanced SQL usage.
• Experience with BI solutions such as QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
• Experience with data modelling and reporting.
• Analytical and quantitative ability, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly proficient spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience training users in BI concepts and tools.
• Experience with automation, programming, data warehousing, or ETL tools.
• Previous experience in the payment industry.
