Lead iOS Engineer & Mobile Team Lead

What you will do

• Own the architectural direction of the native iOS application built with Swift and Objective-C.
• Design scalable, performant, testable solutions for appointment scheduling, payments, and customer engagement features.
• Lead technical initiatives, refactoring, documentation, testing, monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability improvements.
• Guide iOS and Android engineering teams and collaborate with backend engineers on APIs and client-server communication.
• Lead a five-person mobile development team through mentoring, one-to-ones, feedback, hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA, and the CTO on feature delivery, sprint planning, milestones, and long-term roadmap execution.

Requirements

• 9+ years of native iOS development experience, including enterprise-level architecture and implementation.
• Advanced experience with complex applications built using Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Experience in technology leadership as an Architect, Tech Lead, or Team Lead.
• Experience building and maintaining high-load client-backend applications and scalable systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, including translating ambiguous stakeholder input into actionable plans and documenting technical decisions.
• Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on technical guidance and support.
