Contract Officer (Space)

Location: Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany; hybrid working model, with work mostly based at hirify.global premises and business travel required 8–12 times per year for 2–3 days.

hirify.global is expanding its Contracts and Procurement department to support contracts and agreements with business partners across different opportunities.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and negotiate terms and conditions for business agreements.
• Draft and manage contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and memoranda of understanding.
• Support project and proposal managers with contractual issues during project execution.
• Help resolve contractual matters during proposal preparation.
• Travel for short business trips with certain frequency.

Requirements

• Good background in commercial law, especially international commerce.
• A degree or master’s qualification in law is preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration and accounting practices.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English in the applicable professional fields.
• Empathy and strong negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the space sector or a similar industrial field.
