TL;DR
Technical Business Systems Analyst (SAP) (Enterprise IT and SAP): Bridging business needs and technology solutions across enterprise system enhancements, integrations, and implementations with an accent on requirements traceability, process modeling, and test planning. Focus on mapping requirements to system capabilities, managing Azure DevOps backlogs, and validating solutions across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery.
Location: Tampa, Florida; hybrid schedule with four days onsite in Midtown and one day remote per week
Duration: 24 months

What you will do
- Elicit, analyze, refine, and document business and technical requirements across multiple initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices throughout delivery.
- Map business processes and requirements to system capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Develop or support test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test scripts, then validate delivered solutions.
- Support large-scale IT projects, system implementations, enhancements, and integrations across Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and other SDLC methodologies.
- Manage Azure DevOps backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, tasks, defects, and sprint activities while coordinating business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst or in a similar large-enterprise IT role.
- Hands-on SAP experience is required.
- Experience with Requirements Traceability Matrices, technical and business process mapping, and process modeling.
- Experience writing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or a comparable backlog and application lifecycle management platform, plus knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
Nice to have
- Utility or energy industry experience.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, GIS platforms, or energy management systems.
- Experience with large-scale system implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, or another relevant professional certification.
