Embedded Software Student - IoT Application Development (C/IoT): Developing and evaluating embedded software solutions for IoT systems using Bluetooth Low Energy, OpenThread, and Matter with an accent on networking, real-time operating systems, and processor architectures. Focus on building customer-facing applications and solving embedded connectivity challenges.

Location: Bucharest, Romania. Candidates must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania at the application stage. The role includes flexible work hours and a work-from-home policy.

What you will do

  • Develop embedded software solutions for IoT systems.
  • Evaluate applications using Bluetooth Low Energy, OpenThread, and Matter standards.
  • Contribute to application development and customer support activities within the systems engineering team.
  • Create technical materials that facilitate customer use of NXP products.

Requirements

  • Student in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, or Informatics.
  • Knowledge of C programming.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and processor architectures.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating system concepts, including multitasking and multithreading.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Proactive approach, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
