Credit Data Science Specialist (AI) (Credit Risk/Data Science): Building predictive credit and collections models, portfolio analysis, and operational dashboards from transactional data with an accent on credit scoring, churn prediction, and recovery strategy. Focus on generative AI automation, portfolio backtesting, propensity-to-pay modeling, and real-time monitoring of financial risk KPIs.

What you will do
- Develop and monitor credit scoring and churn predictive models using transactional platform data.
- Partner with data engineers to build a data lake, variable books, and features for credit and collections modeling.
- Apply generative AI and advanced algorithms to automate credit analysis while following eligibility criteria and validation rules.
- Conduct portfolio studies and backtesting, including vintages and roll rates, to optimize credit limits, interest-rate pricing, and retention strategies.
- Build propensity-to-pay models, analyze debt recovery, and assess the financial feasibility of judicial and extrajudicial collection.
- Design real-time dashboards for First Payment Default, Provision for Doubtful Accounts, renegotiation effectiveness, and other operational KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python, regression and classification algorithms, financial forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Strong knowledge of credit lifecycles and metrics, including FPD, vintages, and SCR/Serasa data.
- Experience with complex statistical calculations, propensity-to-pay models, and collection or recovery strategy.
- Advanced SQL skills for large-scale transactional data and validation databases.
- Applicants must be located in Brazil.
