Legal Operations Senior Manager (AI): Leading global legal operations by building scalable legal technology, automation, contract management, litigation systems, and knowledge bases with an accent on AI strategy, cross-functional leadership, and measurable productivity improvements. Focus on evaluating and implementing AI tools, managing complex global projects, and developing the Legal Operations team.

Location: Brazil (Remote); the specific role model may be remote or hybrid and can be discussed with the recruiter and hiring manager.

What you will do

  • Lead the global Legal Operations function and define the roadmap for legal technology, processes, and operational initiatives.
  • Set the Legal department’s AI and technology strategy, evaluating, piloting, and implementing tools with measurable productivity, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
  • Manage complex, high-value, cross-functional projects with global scope and advise Legal and Leadership teams on business and legal priorities.
  • Oversee legal automation solutions, contractual templates, litigation management systems, and legal knowledge bases.
  • Supervise, mentor, hire, and onboard Legal Operations team members.
  • Build strategic relationships with Legal, Business, Finance, Product Development, and other cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Law, Production Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years directly managing or leading a team.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating, piloting, and implementing AI and Legal Operations technology, including contract lifecycle management and litigation management systems.
  • Experience in Legal Operations, legal technology, consulting, or comparable Operations functions.
  • Experience with large-scale global project management and delivery, plus data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Fluent English is mandatory. Good proficiency in Excel is also required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce as a CRM or contract lifecycle management platform.
