TL;DR
AI Security Engineer (Conversational AI) (Python/C++): Researching attacks against conversational AI systems and building multilayered detection mechanisms for malicious prompts and model manipulation with an accent on adversarial research, threat detection, and production engineering. Focus on designing mitigations, productizing defenses across endpoint and cloud environments, and solving challenges involving prompt injection, jailbreaking, and rapidly evolving AI attack surfaces.
Location: Hybrid role based in Bratislava, Slovakia
Salary: From €2,800 gross per month, with the final amount adjusted based on skills and experience. Performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary, paid twice per year.

What you will do
- Research attacks against conversational AI systems, including probing models to identify vulnerabilities.
- Design mitigations, protections, and detection strategies based on adversarial research findings.
- Build multilayered detection mechanisms for malicious prompts and attempts to manipulate AI systems.
- Productize and deploy detection capabilities across endpoint, cloud, and standalone environments.
- Collaborate with threat detection, product, and endpoint teams to integrate defenses into security solutions.
- Evaluate open-source and proprietary AI tooling and help shape the technical direction of a newly established team.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with the ability to build production systems.
- Proficiency in Python for detection and security tooling.
- Understanding of large language models and attacks such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial inputs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal defined processes.
- Experience with the listed technology stack, including Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and related tools.
Nice to have
- Machine learning and AI experience, including fine-tuning and deploying language models.
- C++ experience for performance-critical detection components.
- Cybersecurity or threat research background.
- Interest in growing into a Team Lead role over time.
