Senior Bureau Messaging Integration Architect

Salary: £90,000–£105,000 per year

hirify.global is hiring for an enterprise integration architecture role supporting London Market and specialty insurance operations.

What you will do

• Define and maintain target architecture for bureau messaging and external market integrations.
• Design end-to-end integration solutions across underwriting, claims, finance, delegated authority, bordereaux, and reporting.
• Establish integration standards, architectural patterns, design principles, and technical governance.
• Enable connectivity with London Market and Lloyd's platforms, bureaus, brokers, coverholders, and third-party providers.
• Design solutions for message routing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, exception handling, monitoring, audit, security, and resilience.
• Collaborate with business, delivery, data, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams while simplifying the integration landscape and reducing technical debt.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in integration architecture or solution architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in the London Market, Lloyd's, or specialty insurance sector.
• Experience integrating core insurance platforms with external market participants or bureau platforms.
• Strong knowledge of API-led, message-based, event-driven, batch, and file-based integration patterns.
• Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, security, resilience, governance, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi, IBM MQ, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and managed file transfer solutions; knowledge of ACORD, London Market messaging, bordereaux, delegated authority, Lloyd's, cloud-native and hybrid architectures, and TOGAF.
