Indirect Tax Associate

Location: Porto, Portugal. Hybrid model: 3 days per week from the office and 2 days from home.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day advisory support to the Group on VAT issues and questions.
• Monitor tax technology solutions, VAT updates, new regulations, and indirect tax legislation.
• Support the integration of new business lines, transactions, and projects by designing and implementing tax solutions and process improvements.
• Monitor indirect tax workflows and maintain tax-related documentation.
• Collaborate with the Indirect Tax, compliance, Reporting, Tech, Product, and Finance teams.
• Liaise with external advisors on tax advice and planning when required.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience as an indirect tax consultant.
• Experience with EU VAT is required.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under stress, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and interact with stakeholders from different professional backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in e-commerce and/or the fashion industry.
