Android Engineer

Location: Must be based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and engineering teams to deliver valuable features and great user experience.
• Own and ship reliable, scalable, and maintainable Android software ensuring user funds safety.
• Design and build modern architecture for fast feature development and testing.
• Improve mobile developer experience to reduce time-to-market.
• Help shape engineering culture with good practices and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building Android applications
• High integrity and team-first mindset
• Ownership, initiative, and bias toward action
• Ability to clarify and structure ambiguous problems
• Curiosity, proactivity, and eagerness to learn and grow
• Clear communication and effective collaboration
• Ability to define and articulate technical and design requirements
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code
• Analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making and customer focus
• Location: Must be based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE

Nice to have

• Experience with financial transaction apps
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and MVVM architecture
• Ability to ship and maintain apps at scale
• Confidence in tackling tough bugs, concurrency, and persistence challenges
