Shorts Editor (Spike)

Location: Lithuania; fully remote

What you will do

• Cut long-form Spike animated episodes into engaging vertical YouTube Shorts.
• Select funny, dramatic, and rewatchable moments with strong audience appeal.
• Reframe 16:9 footage to 9:16 and improve pacing with opening hooks, captions, sound effects, and music.
• Use AI tools for auto-reframing, captioning, highlight detection, upscaling, and workflow acceleration.
• Deliver content consistently at the agreed weekly volume and incorporate feedback from the Team Lead.
• Review audience performance to improve editing decisions over time.

Requirements

• Video editing experience with a portfolio, especially Shorts, TikToks, or Reels.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Pro, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI video tools or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Strong understanding of short-form pacing and viewer retention.
• Reliability, self-management, and the ability to meet deadlines independently while working remotely.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience editing kids' or animated content.
• Experience running a personal Shorts or TikTok channel.
• Basic motion graphics skills in After Effects.
