TL;DR
Android Developer (Kotlin) (FinTech): Building and enhancing a secure mobile banking application for business clients with an accent on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, and scalable payment functionality. Focus on integrating external APIs, optimizing application performance, making architectural decisions, and mentoring team members.
Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan. The role is available onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid format.

What you will do
- Develop and enhance features for a mobile banking application for business clients.
- Optimize application performance and integrate external APIs.
- Test, document, and review code while maintaining development quality.
- Participate in architectural decisions, task decomposition, estimation, and planning.
- Take ownership of technical tasks, mentor colleagues, and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mobile development and 2+ years in banking or fintech.
- Advanced Kotlin knowledge and experience with Coroutines, Flow, core design patterns, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with MVI patterns, including Redux/TEA, and UI development with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with GitLab CI and mobile application performance optimization.
- Ability to propose and make technical and architectural decisions, lead processes, and work effectively in a team.
- English at Intermediate level or above.
